Written by Avery MacLean. Ms. MacLean is an active music teacher, coach, adjudicator and performer. Her background includes studies in early music with leading scholars and musicians at McGill University, Montreal (B.Mus.), in Holland (Cert., The Hague Royal Conservatory of Music) and in Sweden. With a master’s degree in Music Criticism from McMaster University, Hamilton, Ms. MacLean is a popular instructor of music appreciation and writes for several publications. Ms. MacLean lives in Toronto, Ontario.
